**Classic King** drops down from higher grades and could find this easier. Emma Lavelle's eight-year-old is unexposed over this extended trip, and Harry Cobden's booking suggests connections fancy their chances. At 128, he's well-handicapped if staying the distance.
Maiden Hurdle Insight
The opening Molson Coors Maiden Hurdle (2:10) revolves around **Fidendum**, the only horse in the field carrying an official rating. At 108, David Killahena's seven-year-old should have too much class for this field, with Nick Slatter an able pilot.
However, I'm drawn to **Edelak** from the Dan Skelton stable. Harry Skelton's booking catches the eye, and this four-year-old has shown promise in bumpers. The Skelton team are in fine form, and their juveniles often improve markedly for hurdling debuts.
Tom Cannon rides **Berks And Bucks** for Lucy Wadham. While unrated, this six-year-old has been placed in decent company and could outrun his odds if the market underestimates him.
