Newmarket, the 'Home of British Racing', is a flat racecourse steeped in centuries of history in Suffolk. Its royal patronage dates back to James I, establishing it as the sport's birthplace. The Rowley Mile, used in spring/autumn, presents a long, undulating straight with a demanding uphill finish, testing stamina over five furlongs to two miles.
